A bit late (not really, it's a whole month for making presents to them, women), but I do have a quick question for you guys who are living abroad: what's the deal, do girls wrinkle their nose at you when you try giving them martisoare (plural of Romanian martisor) there? Do their husbands/boyfriends try to beat you for that? What, you didn't even try, is absolutely no way to get martisoare there? What about Romanian communities abroad, do they still stick to this custom?
