I doubt I would be loving photography as I do if I'd never met my friend Camil some 10 years ago in Cluj, while we were students in the Academy. His talent with this medium inspired me to try and explore it as well -- and for an artist, young or old, nothing is better than a little amiable rivalry: seeing his work made me want to take better photos. But I could never measure up to his talent.

Now, years latter, I am more than happy to discover Camil's film-camera pictures again, and to be remembered this way what a lucky bastard I am for owning one of his most beautiful silver prints. Have a look and enjoy.
