The mother of all contests


Or um, father. Nominate and vote for your preferred blogs

Dragos Novac of @rgumente and Una pe zi cu Novac organizes a Romanian blogs competition with a wonderfully alcoholic flavor: The Contest of all Contests [in Romanian]. The tournament is open to any blog written by a Romanian or by any shape and size of alien as long as he/she/it lives in Romania.

Go nominate your favorites in the following contest categories:

· Best niche blog — prize: an American grog
· Best written blog — prize: a wine
· Most informative blog — prize: a beer
· Most insightful blog (Best 'food for thought' blog) — prize: a brandy
· Coolest blog — prize: a cocktail
· Most pretentious blog — prize: still water and a slice of lemon
· Best blog — prize: a 12 years old whisky

Here's the schedule:

· until 25th of February — post your nominations in the comments for each category
· 26th of February–10th of March — vote

Kudos to Dragos for this great initiative (following similar ones in the past years by Gabriel Mihalache [1, 2, 3] and Prinsea. Let's help this happen, folks, start spreading the word.

I have to raise an objection, though. In my opinion, such a serious competition has to absolutely positively have a vodka prize!
