Apollo panoramas

Sorry, words are nothing here, really. See them.

Would like some shivers down you spine? Point your browser to Apollo 11 – The first man on Moon [1] on panoramas.dk website where you can mumble existential questions while examining one of the most incredible photos you'll ever see. Pause to let it sink in your brain, than look at it again. Breathe. And when you're temporarily done get to the other one: Apollo 17 – The last mission [2]. Pause. Breathe. Look again. Save the damn things because you'll want to see them again and again.

Those lens flares against the deep black sky... so out of this world!

And remember it was 35 years ago, today, July 20 (US time) when the first man walked on the moon. The crew was Neil Armstrong who was the commander and together with Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. (generally called Buzz Aldrin) they stayed 21.6 hours on the Moon while the 3rd member of the crew, Pilot Michael Collins, stayed in the Command Module.

[1] Apollo 11 -- In the panorama you can see Buzz Aldrin at the Landing Modul unloading mtrl for the experiments.
[2] Apollo 17 -- Ronald E. Evans and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) in Taurus-Littrow highlands and valley area, shot by Gene Cernan.
