The Clinic

Here are some pictures of the Failure-to-Thrive clinic in Tutova. It is located in Vaslui County in Northeastern Romania.

The clinic is between Barlad and Tecuci... in Tutova. The front of the main hospital Dr. Delia Asoltanei is the director of the hospital and clinic. The front of the clinic The clinic uses cloth diapers, even the industrial dryer can dry them all! Someone has come by buggy to visit the clinic. Swings are held together by duct tape. They do have playground equipment for use in the summertime. The clinic office is simple and cheerful. All the medicines are here in locked cabinets. The TV plays videos in the afternoon in the pre-school room. All sorts of fun bikes, strollers and walkers. One bathroom, no hot water. Yes, the ones who are old enough have to brush their teeth! Cleanliness is a priority given frequent inspections of the clinic. The toddler room One of the baby rooms Changing table, fits up to 3 babies at a time. Folding cloth diapers is a full-time job!
