Playing with the Babies

Here we are, playing with the 35 children in the Tutova clinic in Northeastern Romania. The kids are split into 3 groups: non-mobiles, special needs and the mobiles/toddlers.

4 babies with Christine! 8 babies with Christine! 6 babies with Nora! We help stretch their stiff arms and legs... we help them work on rolling over, crawling and standing... we talk to them and sing to them... we make them laugh... and we love them. There are 6 sets of twins at the clinic! Isn't little one just the cutest? Here is one of the "mobiles" Who is Flat Christian? She plays the xylophone, he plays her toe... another one plays the floor, and yet another plays the drum... and this last one plays the maracas. Sometimes it just feels good to be held. Pre-school in the afternoon for the mobiles and toddlers. A birthday party for 4 tiny tots turning 1!
