- Doxdesk Online Spyware Detector
- Using Internet Explorer, this page checks IE for various parasites. You don't have to install anything; it's quick. Site has much more information on the parasite problem and remedies.
- Parasite Fight: Quick Fix Protocol
- A concise plan to eliminate parasites from your system from the folks at AUMHA.Org
- Spyware Warrior
- Much great information on spyware including pages that list questionable products, "Rogue/Suspect Spyware", and valuable products, "Anti-Spyware Comparison".
- Spyware Stoppers
- This PCWorld article reviews several leading spyware detection and protection utilities, selecting a Best Buy. That product, Sunbelt Software's CounterSpy, is not included in the Spyware Warrior comparison above (see that page's disclaimer.)
- GRC.Com
- Includes the Shields Up! pages, which include an online tester, via IE Active X, for your firewall, the LeakTest outbound connection tester and review of firewall products. Also, the SpinRite disk utility gets much high
praise.

- Really impressive collection of information and the software recommended is
more extensive than elsewhere and includes products that are the leading
tools according to my other researc. Very valuable.
- PC Pit-stop
- PC checkup, diagostics and much information. Includes a searchable database of spyware executables.
- AUMHA.Org
- HijackThis! (http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred
tool to use. It will help you to both identify and remove any
hijackware/spyware. Post your log to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/,
for expert analysis.

behavior of spyware program. Includes much research information for policy,
