Charlestown, MA WeddingWe had a very busy weekend!! On Saturday, we shot
a wedding at the Taj Hotel in downtown Boston. On Sunday our good friends Jill
and Mike got married at the Commandants House in Charlestown MA (http://www.commandantshouse.com/)
It's located in the Charlestown Navy Yard. One of the best hidden locations in
Boston for a wedding reception!!
Here are some pictures from the wedding. We had a blast. It wasn't a working wedding, but I of course can't resist being the photographer friend. (Don't worry, the photographer was okay with me shooting) The Church...
The Bride
My favorite shot of the day. Jill just "hanging out" waiting for the trolley to come back.
The first dance as husband and wife.
The dip.... ![]() The flowers they did themselves...
Their kids... "Finnley and Lucy" stopped by on their nightly walk.. ![]() Old Ironsides at Sunset. For those who don't know, it's also known as the USS CONSTITUTION. It's is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the
world - "commissioned" meaning it is an active duty Navy warship. It's over 200 years old. At sundown, they have the "Colors" ceremony. They take the American flag down, while playing (I forget the song) on a trumpet. and then fire off one of the original canons on board. It's an amazing site. it's also a scary noise if you aren't expecting it :) .
