How I spent my summer vacationI've been on vacation all week! I love vacation
and I vowed not to turn the computer on once, not even for a second. BUT- I did
want to blog and let everyone know I am still alive, and have been a vegetable
all week. On Monday night we drove down to Seth's parents home in Plymouth, MA
and hung out there until yesterday. We went to the beach, worked on the tan and
Seth helped with a time honored family tradition. Building the bonfire pit down
on the beach. Now, he's going to hurt me later for posting his pasty pail
picture on my blog, but oh well.... :) It's a bit blurry, but Seth and I
started officially dating on July 3rd years ago. Each year, groups of people
gather wood from lumber yards and family to stock up for the annual July 3rd
Bonfire Beach Party. Unofficially I heard Maxim Magazine called it the number 5
place to spend the 4th of July. Now the beach we actually hang out on isn't the
exact beach, but I am pretty sure its a better party. Most of the land is
privately owned and the stairs down to the beach are private too. We went down
and I sat and listened to my ipod and Seth (who can't sit still) decided to
pitch in and dig the pit and haul some wood. It's an incredible site once all
the fires are lit (there are about 15 built in all ) and it's a unique event.
We didn't stay for the fires, but instead drove into Plymouth Center to see our
good friend Steve play in his band Beachfront Property. We bumped into some of
Seth's old high school friends and really just enjoyed being on vacation! These
were taking with my point and shoot and no effort was made to enhance them, not
even a little. Remember, I am on vacation! No Photoshop for
me.

Tomorrow Seth and I are heading up North to go hiking. .
