Big Old Entry...I've been really busy, running around shoot
weddings and engagement sessions and going to my own friends
weddings.
This past weekend, my friend Ashley got married at Sacred Heart in North Square. It's an amazing church, and they had a very small very intimate wedding. Only a few close friends and family were invited. Here are J.R. and Ashley
I also wanted to post images from an engagement shoot I did at a UMass Amherst a week ago. Liz and Todd getting married 9.8.07.. ![]()
I also wanted to clarify the Trash the Dress session Massachusetts style. There has been a lot of chatter online and on T.V. lately about trash your wedding dress sessions. It's really not what it sounds like, at least not for me. What I love to do is get the bride back in her dress and have a portrait session in a unique location. I don't run out to ruin the dress, but we go to some cool locations (i.e a junk yard) and the bride is basically a model for a day. If you loved having yoru dress on and wanted some cool bridal portraits- this is for you. Most the time the dress gets a little dirty. Not even very dirty. You take it to the dry cleaners and it's all better. I don't want any one to completely ruin their dress. If you remember back in the 80's brides use to go to the photo studio before the wedding. This is a bridal session AFTER the wedding. If you wanted to do some funky shots and put your dress back and lets go! I've attached a few more images from my session in the junk yard.
Trash the dress.. it's not just for people in California ;) .
