When you read the passage you can't help but notice him emphasized at the end (7:58 - 8:1). But did you catch the sly reference at the very beginning -- in whose synagogue was Stephen making a nuisance of himself? The synagogue specifically for Jews from Cyrene, Alexandria, Cilicia and Asia. And Saul / Paul is from Tarsus of Cilicia. |
