You've got to love this guy's attitude with both the authorities and with Jesus. Remember, it's like he's talking sass to the cops. He answers their questions civilly at first, but as the harassment increases and their irrational dislike becomes clear, he loses respect for them and it shows. It's not that he's a guy with attitude, he's just transparent. When Jesus and he talks, there's no sign of attitude, but an increasing respect which ends in worship. I want to be more like this - with attitudes that befit the situation rather than attitudes I wear like some fashion statement. |
