Lots of people love personality tests -- like the Myers-Briggs. I loved it back in Mrs Weissburger's Intro to Psych class. And Christians love it even today. It's a chance to say without worry: "Oh, I'm INTF and she's ESFP, do you think we stand a chance?" instead of "Oh, I'm Aquarius and she's Cancer...."
A new article by Malcolm Gladwell explores the optimism about and the disappointments of actually trying to use personality tests to find out something useful.
"It's not surprising, then, that the Myers-Briggs has a large problem with consistency: according to some studies, more than half of those who take the test a second time end up with a different score than when they took it the first time." -- Malcolm Gladwell
