| The folks at Urban Outfitters are selling a Christmas tree modelled from the pathetic tree from Charles Schultz's (who was also a Lutheran, by the way) cartoon strip 'Peanuts'. The tree also featured heavily in an animated TV special based on 'Peanuts': A Charlie Brown Christmas. |
 It's only 24 U.S. dollars and comes with a free stand (watch out, it splinters) and a single red bauble. Best of all, since it's made out of wire, the 'tree' is bendable to express a range of feelings: You decide whether to make it look pathetic or just kind of pathetic. Sounds like just the thing for my office, where it would fit right in right between my guitar and the plans for my next book. |
