Captain's Log

Skinwalker Log November 25, 2005, Friday, 1254 hrs

Wow.

Things were draggin for a couple of weeks, now all of it has broken loose and we running like we lived on land again.  Don't really like that feeling.

We have backed ourselves into a corner and find it now necessary to head for Florida by car so we have rented a one way vehicle and will leave tomorrow morning for two weeks.  The boat of course will be in the good hands of Lady's Island Marina until we get back.

We really don't need to be gone for two weeks, but we don't want to miss our friends, Margo & John, Christmas party around the the 10th.

We do want to be back in Beaufort by the 15th or so in order to close on both properties one of which we can start cleaning up and defining as ours with embellishments we want.
We hope to find a truck in Florida we can buy to pull our Utility trailer to Beaufort so we can have all of our tools with us.  All you Florida friends keep an eye out for a truck for us, so I can once again be a manly man instead of cowering from embarassment in that darn Ford Escort Wagon.

Now these are things that many of our readers could care less about so we will close for now and keep further logs brief until we get back to the water and underway again.  Gee, we haven't even left and I already miss the boat, water and this wonderful lifestyle.
Ready to depart the pilothouse and go feet dry in the morning.
