Currently on Tellico Lake Just off the Tennessee River on the Little Tennessee River. We have arrived! Now we are truly meeting my expectations of the sunny side of cruising life. We go to sleep and get up in the morning to our individual biological clocks. We have a leisurely morning coffee while thinking about email subjects. _____________________Oh, my gosh, look a flock of turkeys just flew across the cove behind us! Wild! That was most awesome!. ___________________ Gee it is hard to get back to writing now. Well, yes, we usually have a few exciting interruptions to our day like that. After coffee we may have a snack of fruit (yuck), or a sandwich and sometimes a full, large breakfast. By that time it is natural to jump into the water for a few minutes and with great languor simply soak. We try to get an hour or two of routine maintenance out of the way (we really try to) before we go back to swimming and lounging in the water. Then it is time for lunch or reading for a while. Maybe we will do a little work on the computer, a card or board game. ( I hate it when she wins all the time) By this time it is warming up nicely and we need to take a cooling swim break before we read or take a nap. Later it is required to get some exercise so we swim or simply tread water until we get thirsty. By this time it is cocktail hour so we bring out the rum and wine while we mull over the days events. Sometimes the excitement is too much to bear like when a boat comes into our cove and heads directly toward us. We know they want to talk and find out about us and Skinwalker. Chatting is tiring so we take a swim to relax a little before we continue our evening drinks and start dinner. Lynn has taken it upon herself to become the Galley Wench and Chief Chef. I must say her rum and 7s are excellent. That was a joke. I really wanted to say that our evening meals are major events and always the best meal I have ever had. I seem to live all day for our evening meal. I gotta tell you we living pretty well in the evening unless we havent been to the store for 2-3 weeks. Why this week we have had hickory smoked chicken, marinated pork loins, pork chops, hamburgers, tuna salad, ( it was hot that night), Tacos, my special grilled cheese for main courses. All of these meals prepared on the grill with or accompanied with fresh salad, canned veggies and fresh bread. My Cardiologist is going to have a heart attack if I keep this up. Well there are down sides to life. We waited from 1300 hrs to 1800 hrs to get in the Ft. Louden Lock and then we waited another two hours to 2000 hrs for them to get the gates shut so they could lock us up. Oh well, no harm no foul. We anchored down river for a while, played cards, swam, eat and well, you know the usual on board the Skinwalker. I need to go take some pictures of the cove water here. It is so still and flat I can use it like a mirror and shave in the reflection. Yeah, it is time for a swim isnt it. Taunting from the swim platform,
