ANYWAY...hmmmm. I have this in the catagory of Blue House News, but the new house isn't blue, it is sort of yellowish with green trim. But "Yellowish house with Green Trim News" just isn't catchy. So I will stick with Blue House News...as that is the color of the house I'd like to eventually settle in.
We are without internet. Sorta. We still have it at the old house...well...not anymore...BUT WE DID. And for a week there while we moved we'd haul over our laptops with us and log on quickly to check e-mail and post stuff on Craigslist (which is an AMAZING resource BTW). So we were able to do the internet in little hits, when we are used to settling in after a day of managing work and dueling verbally with the kids and talking to each other with iChat or Skype while we sit 2 feet from each other. Then she visits her friends blogs or looks what is happening at punkvoter.com while I visit the 4 Final Cut Pro help sites I lead and answer questions. I answer a LOT of questions...and Sam visits a LOT of blogs.
But now that we are without the internet we really see how connected to it we are. Which is VERY connected. For my business, it is vital, and a bit crippling. We will be back soon. If you read this post, I either:
a) roamed the nighborhood until I found a signal to leech off of
b) am drinking a frapaccino at Starbucks
c) have internet access in our hotel in San Diego
d) all of the above
e) none of the above
(Sorry...flashback to SATs....*shiver*)
We will have internet on Tuesday and will be able to curb our withdrawl symptoms.
