Snow in dem dar hills!
yes...in Southern
California.
Saturday we are driving and Hallie asks "Can we go
to the snow today?" Mind you it is now 4:00PM and we are headed back from a day
out.
"Not today honey."
"Aaaoooooow!" This is her typical reply when she doesn't get her way. "How about tomorrow?"
"Yeah," Justice pipes in. "It has been raining here, there might be LOTS of snow up there."
"Guys, we can't just go to the mountains on one days notice!"
"WHY NOT!?" everyone asks, Sam included.
Well, they have me there. Why not? Because I hate to go places. As much as I enjoy being there, GETTING THERE is something I don't look forward to. I'd like it if we could instantly be there...while Sam enjoys the travel.
Anyway, so we went. At first it wasn't looking good, as we couldn't see snow in the hills. Then we saw spatterings here and there. When we got to the town, we saw a mountain that looked covered with it. It took a while, but eventually we found the mountain and drove up and up and up until we found a perfect spot.
And here it is.
