I shook hands with Edward James Olmos. Met him at the local Apple store where he was shopping with his daughter. I got three words out of him.
"Excuse me, Mr. Olmos. I have a friend who recently worked with you."
"Oh?"
"Yes. Mike Mench. Air Force band leader. You did the voiceover for a concert CD of his."
"Ah."
"Anyway, I am a big fan and just wanted to introduce myself. Shane."
"Pleasure."
