1. People collect maple tree sap to make syrup. What causes sap to flow?

 

Some people think that amber is tree sap that has hardened over a long time. They are wrong.
What is the origin of amber?

 

If you have ever touched sap you know it can be a sticky. But that is not what it means when an author describes a character as a sap.
What does that mean?

Compare this to the amount of maple sap needed to make a gallon of syrup.
