Things to know:
Be able to Label
the parts of a butterfly: forewing,
proboscis, hindwing, antennae, head, eye, thorax, leg and abdomen.
Be able to
describe the five families of butterflies:
Swallowtail, sulphurs, brushfooted, gossamer wings, and
skippers.
Name one species of each family that can be found in your region.
Diagram the butterfly life cycle: egg,
larva, caterpillar, cocoon, chrysalis, pupae, and adult.
