Lewis Mehlenbacher immigrated to Steuben County, New York with his parents Christian Conrad Mehlenbacher and Christiane Margarethe Schmidt Mehlenbacher from Ottweiler, Saarland, Germany. There are at least four Mehlenbacher family group plots in the Zion churchyard.
