Four Generations of the Mohr Family

This picture was taken the same day as the picture above, but remained in Canada with the family there. Standing from left to right: Jacob J. Mohr (1871-1938), Magdelena Riel (1871-1930), Algernon Mohr (b.1914), Hilda Winkelmann (1891-1987), Jac Mohr (1894-1968), all of whom moved to Minneapolis in the Summer of 1915. Seated: Valentin Mohr (1844-1917) and Margaretha Rief (1848-1916).

50th Anniversary Celebration of Jac and Hilda Mohr

The Strassburger Family of Stony Plain, Alberta

The mother pictured here is the second child of Valentin Mohr and Margaretha Rief, taken about 1900. The parents: Philippine Mohr (1875-1960) and Jacob Strassburger (1864-1934) the eldest five of seven children, unidenified in this photo, the seven children are: Magdelena (1892-1985), Jacob (1894-1966), Fredrick (b.1896), Salome, Louise, Philippine, and Gottlib.

The Dringenberg Family of Stony Plain, Alberta

The mother pictured here around 1930 is the eldest daughter of the Strassburger family pictured above. The parents: Magdelena Strassburger (1892-1985) and Ed J. Dringenberg (1893-1981) and eight children (the family also included one son from Magdelena's first marriage to Carl Pitzler). Those children, some of whom survive into 2005, were: Carl Pitzer, Jr., and the Dringenberg children: Jack, Salome, Ed, Madeline, Fred, Louise, Valentin, and Dora.
