Summer Camps are a great way to not only continue playing, but really advance on your instrument or even learn a new one. Not to mention they are a lot of fun especially if you are able to stay in the dorms! I will try to post all the information on this page as well have flyers in the band room.

Everyone is welcome
Elementary, Middle, and High School students:
we want all of you to play. Summer
band is great for getting a head start for
beginning band students who are starting
in the fall and is an easy way to learn new
doubling instruments for your smaller ensembles.
Even if you have vacation plans
that will cause you to miss a few days, we
still want you to play.

Summer band is four days a week starting
on June 8th thru June 25th

Adams 12 Summer Orchestra 2009

2 weeks—JULY 27-AUGUST 7, 5 days per week, 10 sessions at Legacy High School
with the final concert on the last Friday during class

Intermediate Orchestra: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. For students entering grades 6-12 with at least one or two years of successful orchestra experience

Technic Class: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. For students wanting to learn more about vibrato, 3rd, 4th positions, fiddling. For advanced 8th graders and all high school students.


Advanced Orchestra: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. For students entering grades 9 – 12 with at least three years orchestra experience.

Transportation: Provided by students. Consider arranging a carpool with other students from your school.

Cost: $50.00 per student per 2 week orchestra session.
