Its kinda not christmas anymore, but
Im sure you all got the email. Anyway, if you want a little update on movies
that you might be seeing soon, I can tell you
this:
The movie Valiant was ok, but I wasnt expecting much and I didn't get much, so there. Kinda ok if you want a family movie, but not really worth buying. A rental, maybe. Mr. And Mrs. Smith SUCKS. Ok, it didn't suck, but.... The beginning was REALLY slow, the action wasn't all that great, there were only a couple good lines, the quality of the movie was really only "ok" near the end, and after the beginning I just wasn't into it. Its ok to see, but its not as good as I expected. Must Love Dogs... One of my favorite movies now. Starts off kinda weird, but it gets really interesting, and I really enjoyed watching it. A few good comedy moments, very good if you actually want to know about relationships and stuff, I dunno.... If you ask me, a lot of people need to see this movie. Besides... John Cusack. Can't argue with that. Of course, I honestly think those people who need to see it would totally not get it. There's so much more I could say, but none that I can, because none of you want to hear it.

You ever wonder what it'd be like if
video games really were works of art? I mean really, they can be art in their
own way. They are a creation of a person and use creativity and in some forms
genius. Though, in some cases, just because a lot of games I myself think are
sick and wrong, that doesn't mean they aren't
art.
Anyway, Im making a little bit of a tribute entry to my favorite video game series because it truly was a work of art. It is so complex it can probably barely be decoded within someone's lifetime. The game is titled Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The reason I say "Postmodernity" is because thats what the game was. People don't understand some works of art, some paintings. So therefore, there are some games people don't understand. MGS2 is one of them, and one of the first real Postmodern games. Just for instance, what if you're playing a game, you are a spy inside the enemy fortress when you get a call from your CO saying to turn the game console off. WHAT? I know, you think im kidding, well Im not. This is one of few games to refer to itself as a game. What do you think of that? Im babbling a little bit, but the point is you should check out this article about it I reread because it is amazing. It kinda is a defense of the game for those who disagreed with the game because some of the effect of the Postmodernity "ruined" the storyline for some people and so they hated the game. The article is titled Dreaming In An Empty Room. Say what you want, but it is this series which means quite a lot to me, not to mention shaped my own ideology in some ways. Teague, I HIGHLY suggest you play through the series for its multiple themes toward genetics, you'd love it. Plus, its fun to play. Also, on a more interesting note to you all who despise video games, i also want to remind people to remember Pearl Harbor.

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and
its time for remembrance of all we have and celebration of life in this Country.
Even if it totally blows sometimes in our lives, its still a great life we
have.
