Staying Calm
The most important thing in an emergency is to stay calm. Getting hysterical often panics the victim, stops communication with the emergency people and often causes more harm. Panicking is contagious. If there is a crowd staying calm can stop massive panic.


Calling for help
The emergency number is 911. When you call for help give your location, what the emergency or injury is, the number of people, your name and listen to instructions from the 911 operators. The 911 operator is trained to help you.

Safety tips about the weather
Sun exposure and warm weather can be dangerous.

Symptoms of Heat Exhaustion are:

  • Dizziness, headache, vomiting
  • Feeling thirsty and hot
  • Muscle cramps
  • Sweating a lot
