Chris MacIsaac was born in Inverness, Cape Breton and grew up in a small village called Judique. When he was in grade 8 his uncle gave his family a digital video camera for Christmas. He was the first in my family to take it out and it took him no time to learn how to use it. Chris and his friends started off by just recording any old random thing but when Chris was in grade 9, he started snowboarding. Him and his friends would go up the mountain and find good trails to ride and good ditches to jump. Chris finally convinced his mother to let him take the camera out on one of their trips, promising not to come back with it smashed. She said he was the only one in the family who even used it. So at that point Chris realized that this camera was basically his. From then on he barley put the thing down. Chris got pretty good at snowboarding and shooting at the same time. It made for some great videos. Once Chris was getting close to graduating from high school he got into a couple of drama classes. He wasn't much of an actor but he was good at visualizing stories. Chris ended up getting the chance to edit a lot of peoples projects for them.
Now Chris is living in Halifax NS , and is going to The Centre of Arts and Technology taking the Digital Film making program. He now has goals of becoming a writer director and or editor.
