In Nikko, a town of culture with 1,200 years of history. A bit of freshness waits whenever one visits. The Nikko Romantic Highway (Routes Nos. 119 and 120) and Iroha Slope will welcome all of you with respective expressions throughout the four seasons. The Nikko hot spring region is a sanctuary where Nikko-san Rinnoji Temple and Nikko Futarasan Shrine are found. To visit places of historical interest in the rest of Nikko it is recommended that you start at the Shinkyo Bridge. The Chuzenji Hot Spring Region is a resort area where great natural beauty is provided as Mt. Nantaisan, and Chuzenjiko Lake and Kegonno Waterfall surround you. When passing through Kotoku and Senjogahara, there is the Yumoto Hot Spring Village. Since the old days it has been positioned as a place of relaxation of the Japanese as a popular hot-spring resort. Enjoy with ease the contrast between the natural beauty and the artificial beauty of Nikko.
