For his piece, TITLE SAFE 2, the video artist Walter Verdin has asked a number of his colleagues to make a short video each. There isn't an imposed topic; each artist works autonomously according to a few simple rhythmical and technical editing rules. The resulting videos will be mounted in succession as phrases of a longer musical composition, alternated with a musical theme (refrain) composed and executed by Verdin and various live musicians. The beat is fixed and provides the only framework: 125 BPM, i.e. twelve frames per beat.

Multimedia artist Willy Depoortere will be developing a way of photographing still lives without the use of negatives. The webcam will serve as a camera obscura. The artist will be using lighting and colouring techniques to create an inverse world, where the negative image becomes positive to the eye. He has recently been trying to apply these techniques to film and video as well
