A  Closer Look began as a work primarily for the church with which I work. Its purpose is to inform and encourage. I also send out a pdf version of the journal as an e-mail attachment to interested parties. Back issues are also made available through the church web site. Each issue centers around one theme and contains two articles.

A popular feature that I experimented with was the interview. Several have been conducted and are always in the works. In addition to the interviews are "Special Studies." These issues contain one article written by someone who has done some concentrated work on a particular study. 

If the reader wishes, he may download any issue from this page by clicking on the title. As a suggestion, I attach the pdf edition to e-mail and send it to the local Kinko's.They print it in black and white on 11" x 17" paper, double-sided and fold it in half. It makes a handy 4-page paper.
