| Artist's Comment: This view of Diamond Head is now in the process of being obstructed by new houses that are being built on the foreground. I live near this area and I used to notice on early mornings the brilliant sunrise behind Diamond Head. I also knew that new homes were going to be built on the land so I figured I'd better make a painting of this scene before it is hidden behind the new homes. |
