Comment: I started on this artwork and also on
the other two artworks with a blank document. Using photographic
references, I sketched in the main shapes and lines with an airbrush
tool. I then used the watercolor tool to lay in the washes of
underlying colors. After the masses have been colored in, I selected
the oil paint tool and painted the details. It's amazing how
this program can simulate the different medias. Painter is up
to version 6 now while I'm just using version 1. I've read of
another paint program that does a way better job of simulating
painting than Painter. It's something I might try later. |
