Grey Jays Nonundefeated!

The Grey Jays made a valiant attempt to avoid a complete season of losses. We scored a record 6 runs in this afternoon's game against the Blue Jays but still lost 8-6. At least we didn't get ten-run-ruled. Estevan gave me three "All-star" medals to hand out to the team as I saw fit. He and Ronnie refused recognition so I ended up awarding them to Jeremy DeLosSantos (pitcher), JJ Trevino (outfield/catcher), and Jessie Garcia (pitcher). Just for the record, Uncle Ronnie was the most reliable hitter on the team and deserved recognition. I guess he is just too humble.

Back at the house, Zach and Ty decided to set up a "workshop" in the garage. After surveying the clutter, I talked them into moving it out to one of the garden sheds. While they worked on their playhouse, I set to work clearing the last fallen tree from the backyard. The little hand saw I purchased at Tractor Supply for $5 turned out to be a pretty wise investment as I was able to clear most of the tree without the use of a chainsaw.
