Selection based on performance

Our goal is to produce dogs with excellent natural field abilities and good looks. While selection is based mainly upon field performance rather than on a dog's ability to win ribbons in the show ring, a close adherence to the breed's conformation standard is high on our list of priorities. We breed good looking, hard hunting dogs that are well within the breed standard for size, colour, character and overall appearance.

       

     

We breed one or two litters per year. All dogs used in our breeding program are screened for hip displaysia and other health concerns. Above all, the dogs we select for breeding are proven hunters and trialers.
