If you use MobileMe for your websites and you frequently create and edit web pages, you can save a great deal of time by having your iDisk always available on your Desktop. Open System Preferences and click the MobileMe button. Next, select the iDisk tab and click the Start button to mount a copy of your iDisk on your Desktop. It might take a long time for the disk to be copied but, once it is, you can use it like you would an external hard drive.

To add your iDisk to the Sidebar of Finder windows, open the Finder Preferences Pane, click the Sidebar button and put a check in the box in front of iDisk. You won't need to be connected to the Internet to use your iDisk. Just work with it like you would with any other drive and, when you're ready to sync it with your virtual iDisk, connect to the Internet and click the sync button (the circle) next to the iDisk in your Sidebar.

Now there'll be no more wasted time waiting to mount and unmount your iDisk every time you need it.
