Kodak EasyShare is a photo cataloging program similar in many
ways to iPhoto. You can catalog and organize any photos on your
computer or a disk, automatically transfer photos from a camera,
edit photos, burn a CD or DVD of photos, and print photos.
The main Kodak EasyShare window has three panes - a narrow pane
that lists your photo collections, a large pane for viewing
photos and another narrow pane for viewing thumbnails of selected
images. You can close and hide the thumbnail pane and you can
adjust the width of the other two panes.
If you import images from folders, Kodak EasyShare will keep the
images organized and create folders in the program that match the
original ones, so it might be easy to move from another photo
cataloging program to Kodak EasyShare.

The buttons on the Kodak EasyShare Toolbar are difficult to understand from the icons but helpful tool tips are displayed when you hold your mouse over the buttons. Your options, from left to right include:
Kodak EasyShare gives you several options for printing images,
including creating and printing greeting cards. You can also
design custom templates and save your images and layouts as To Do
items for printing at a later time.
Other special features of Kodak EasyShare are the ability to view
images in a slideshow, create backups of your library with
reminders of when you need to back up the library again, create
Smart albums, and view movie files directly in Kodak
EasyShare.
Kodak EasyShare is a photo cataloging program with many extra
features, such as editing capabilities and backups with
reminders, and it is worth a try, even if you use iPhoto or
another photo cataloging program.
