CJRTOOLS ebooks is interested in forming
partnerships with Mac User Groups. Our plans for the
partnership program include providing groups with articles,
online courses, special discounts, and review copies of our
newest ebooks. In exchange, we are asking for feedback on our
ebooks and ideas for future articles, courses and
books.
If your group is interested in joining our program, please
read the details on this page and have your group's
President, Apple Ambassador or Vendor Liaison contact
us with the name of your MUG and the website address.
Articles for Newsletters
On the fifteenth of each month, we will email a new article
written by our author, Claire J Rottenberg, to your group's
newsletter editor for publication in the following month's
newsletter. The article will cover a topic of interest to Mac
OS X users, for example, "Reasons to Upgrade to Mac OS X
10.5." The article will be released only to Mac user groups
that are enrolled in our partnership program. Groups are
encouraged to recommend topics for articles.
Online Courses
On the first of each month, we will email a description of
that month's online course to your group's program
representative. The courses will usually begin the second
week of the month and last for two to three weeks. Enrollment
will be limited to the first 20 group members who register,
but popular courses will be repeated so that as many members
as possible can benefit from them. We are open to providing
courses on topics suggested by group members.
Special Discounts
As soon as a user group is enrolled in our program, we will
send a special discount code to the group's representative.
The code can be used at our eSellerate store
for 10% off all ebook purchases up to $20 and for 20% off on
purchases over $20.
Review Copies of ebooks
Any user group enrolled in our program can request a review
copy of one of our new ebooks. In exchange for the ebook, we
ask that you write a review of the book and send us a copy of
the review. Note that this does not need to be a
"professional" review. We want to use the information and
feedback to improve our ebooks. Naturally, if the review is
positive, we would like to post it on our website or link to the review on your group's website.
Feedback Forms
Occasionally, we will send your group's representative a
Feedback form, requesting feedback on our articles and
courses. We might also ask for suggestions or recommendations
for topics for future courses and ebooks.
If you join our group, feel free to post our Mac User Group
Program logo on your website.
