If you have a MobileMe account, it is
easy to create and manage multiple websites. You can
create your websites with a website creation program or an
HTML program.
The easiest way to manage multiple websites with MobileMe
is to create individual website folders and manually
place them on your iDisk, especially if you keep your
iDisk mounted on your Desktop at all times (see my tip,
"Keep Your iDisk on the Desktop").
1. Create a new folder and give the folder a
descriptive but short name.
2. Create the main page for your new website
using a web creation or HTML program (see my article
Web Design with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.4 for
suggestions).
3. Save the main page for the website in the
new folder you created. Be sure and name the page
"index.html".
4. Create as many other web pages as
necessary for your website and save all the pages in
the folder you created in Step 1.
5. Copy the folder with all the web pages to
the "Sites" folder on your iDisk.
6. Create additional websites by following
Steps 1-5. Give each folder a unique name but make
certain that the main page in each folder is named
"index.html".
Here is an example of how my Sites folder looks:

7. Create an "index.html" page for the top
level of your iDisk's Sites folder. Use this page to
link to your individual websites. Copy your new
"index.html" page to the Sites folder on your iDisk.
When you create additional websites for your MobileMe
account, you can add links to the sites to this index
page.
8. Connect to the Internet. Sync your
Desktop iDisk with your virtual iDisk by clicking the
small circle symbol next to the Desktop iDisk in the
Sidebar.
Now that you have multiple websites
on MobileMe and an index page for all the sites, you can
send links to the sites to your friends and relatives.
The link to all the sites will be:
http://homepage.mac.com/[username]/index.html
and the links to individual sites will be:
http://homepage.mac.com/[username]/[foldername1]
http://homepage.mac.com/[username]/[foldername2]
