The content in documents and images created in third-party applications may not automatically be included in Spotlight searches so some companies have designed plugins to ensure that data from their applications show up in Spotlight search lists. An easy way to find some of these plugins is to go to the Spotlight plugins page on Apple's Mac OS X downloads site. Here you'll find plugins for popular programs, such as CDpedia and Delicious Library, as well as Spotlight enhancements.

We hope you enjoyed this issue of Tips and More for Mac OS X. See you next month.
