Zeno's Paradox
March 26, 2004 - Clarke v. Rice Solution

The core controversy in the Clarke situation is whether he is telling the truth. A simple (and obvious solution) to the problem is to put Rice on the stand in public and under oath and have her testify against Clarke. If the right can make a case that Clarke perjured himself before the 9-11 commission, they should push that case and try to have him convicted for perjury. If the left can make a case that Rice is lying under oath, they should push that case and try to have her convicted. At the moment - regardless of whatever his testimony was - Clarke has more credibility because he has put his ass on the line by testifying under oath. If the case against Clarke is so clear, the administration and its supporters should have no problem putting Rice's ass on the line and letting the facts shake themselves out. At the moment, Rice talking to Fox, CNN, NBC, and every other news venue does nothing to bolster her case when Clarke's testimony was given under oath. The administration needs to put up or shut up with respect to Clarke and his credibility.
