Zeno's Paradox
December 18, 2003 - Disclaimer

In a previous entry, I used language that was probably unsuitable for a mass audience as I made clear about the metaphor that is in my mind with respect to the Bush administration's FCC and large media interests that involved forms of degenerate sexual conduct (as previously defined by the state of Texas at least). Recognizing that the language was not the best, I changed it. However, I recognize that there'll be times when a dirty word or phrase will slip through when I'm describing something (I'm not as witty as some others), so I make the following disclaimer.

I may write things that from time to time may be unsuitable for children, elderly people, religious folk, or any other forms of civilized society.

The thoughts expressed here are my own, for better or worse. As such, these thoughts may contain unsuitable imagery that translates into unsuitable text. Given that I am not interested in censoring myself, this terribly unsuitable text may slip into the site from time to time.

Since there are people who are interested in avoiding some of the colorful phrases and metaphors that I may use from time to time, I have rated this site according with the Internet Content Rating Association. If you are using a PICS-aware filtering package, you should not be able to read this page nor any other pages on this site since all pages are tagged with metadata that describes the situation above.

If you're one of my parents or other relatives up the ancestral tree and are offended in what you read here, I probably didn't make it to church often enough and was in the company of bad influences that has poisoned my mind and language. It's too late for me, though there may still be hope for my siblings.

If you're a sibling of mine, don't get caught using any offensive language. I may be free of the tyranny of the parents. You are not.

Similar warnings for everyone else....

I say, hurrah for swearing. Of course, I'm the youngest in my family, so I've got zero Mantle-Of-Responsibilities to uphold.

On a side note, I have to curse you, as I adore moveable type.
