Zeno's Paradox
January 24, 2003 - All Hail Microsoft...

... 'cos the cut and paste from the last blog entry was really b?tch?red. News about life in general included in this healthy packet of electronic wholesomeness...

Lemme see, what's new with me?

1. Oyez has finally gone public beta. The legal bloggers thus far love the Rehnquist and Ginsburg photo in the online tour.

2. I picked up a GameCube with "Star Wars: Rogue Leader" about a week ago and I picked up "Robotech: Battlecry" yesterday. I've made it through all the "Rogue Leader" normal levels (still working to unlock the bonus missions), and I'm still getting my feet wet with respect to "Battlecry". "Rogue Leader" is an exceptionally strong game once the controls and display have been gotten used to, while I'm disappointed that the entire Macross Saga is covered in "Battlecry". Fortunately, there are many more missions in "Battlecry".

3. 24 Hour B-Movie Festival today. I'll not see the entire lineup due to other considerations, but this should be fun.

4. I become a landlord tomorrow. Well, not really. A high school classmate is coming to Chicago in hopes of finding employment in the Windy City. I've volunteered my place as a place to crash while looking for a job. Tenet arrives tomorrow.

5. Holly's throwing a party. (No, not one of those parties...) Due to guilt about all of her friends having her over for parties and get-togethers, Holly has decided that she will have one tomorrow at her place.

That about sums it all up. Back to work...

(And no, this entry wasn't cut and pasted from MS Word.)
