Zeno's Paradox
January 05, 2003 - Star Trek Marathon

TNN (now The NATIONAL Network, formerly The NASHVILLE Network) is currently showing a "Star Trek: The Next Generation Marathon". Can I stand to watch all the mattress commercials and redneck humor all afternoon and get caught up on all the episodes that I've missed?

So, my last day of the weekend has been pretty boring. I got up around 9:00 and remembered that I needed to exercise. I got up, intending to run along the park as I usually do, and made it to the intersection of Dempster and Lake Michigan. Since running seemed to be a bit boring, I decided instead to walk a lot and listen to my new audible book (Zeitgeist). So, I followed the lake closely until I hit Howard to the south and since I've gone to Best Buy and Target in the past, I decided to go that way before making my way home. My excuse was that I was looking for a DVD holder that I could use to better organize my collection and compact it. I'd seen some books with pages that held the discs and inserts. I'd seen one in a catalog and wanted to comparison shop a bit. Didn't find anything -- Best Buy and Target only had shelves for DVDs.

I'm still working on making the grocery list and getting organized. We'll see how far I get. Star Trek is running until 8:00 PM. Six more hours to go...
