There were so many things we wanted to see in Albuquerque, but high winds and rain sorta kept us from them... instead we were FORCED to take naps... horrible it was...
Friday morning saw us up and out of ABQ and on our way to Palm Springs. We made it as far as Flagstaff, where it was SNOWING! Neither one of us wanted to drive in the dark and snow, so we decided to stop for the night...
Wallace Ann was less than amused with the cold weather, seeing as she's such a delicate flower...
The snow continued on into the next day, so we hit the road and toodled along... it was amazing to see the weather change as we descended from >6500 ft to the desert. The storm blew in some awesome clouds! We made it to Palm Springs safe and sound that evening...Wallace didn't emerge from her pillows until the temp hit 65
