Falast.iyn - dot under t

in history a district of Syria
at least in BC323 (Seleucids) and AD638 (Omar),
administered from Damacus AD661-750 (Umayyad)
administered from Baghdad AD750-1258 (Abbasid)
administered from Istanbul AD1516-1917 (Ottoman)

occupation from December 9 1917 by British imperialists and colonialists
led by General Allenby during World War 1

following April 24, 1920 San Remo conference,
adopted July 24,1922 by the League of Nations
the administration of Palestine was entrusted by the League of Nations
to Britain as the League's mandatory

British civil administration of Palestine from September 1923 to May 15, 1948

November 29 1947
Partition plan adopted by the United Nations General Assembly
blatantly discriminatory against Palestinians
Mahatma Gandhi opposed it and later Karl Marx and Albert Einstein too

April 9 1948
Zionists butchered whole families of Palestinians at Deir Yassin; indicative of so much worst Zionist atrocities to follow in 1982 at Sabra and Shatila

May 15 1948
Zionists preemptively and unilaterally proclaimed the state of Israel;
robbed and stole up to 77% of Palestinian land; and evicted at least 600,000 Palestinians

The British Balfour Declaration of November 2 1917,
the League of Nations Mandate done at London July 24 1922
the American Endorsement of September 21 1922,
and partition by the United Nations General Assembly November 29 1947,
blatantly discriminatory in favour of Zionists, ( India, Iran and Yugoslavia opposed),
were pivots of grave injustices inflicted on Palestinians.

Since then injustices by imperialists and colonialists
have aggravated in Palestine, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq;
and have begun to boomerang on all of us !

Oil was discovered in Iran in 1904; could there be oil in Mesopotamia ?

1911 First Lord of the Admiralty Winston Churchill sent Admiral Slade to the Persian Gulf to explore oil opportunities at about the same time in 1913 as British officials bluffed and cheated making Kuwait a British protectorate and surrender all rights to oil to Britain.

The liar lord, Curzon, as Foreign Minister, cheated Turkey at the Lausanne conference 1922 November - 1923 February in order to keep Mesopotamian Mosul and prospects of oil and to get the League of Nations mandate to carve "Iraq" out of Mesopotamia and colonise it.

was it already a policy of the British Government
to renege on promises made to Arabs and France,
sustain British control over Palestine and Arabs,
prevent Arabs from being influenced by France
and establish a permanent base for control of Arab land ?

Germany was trying cautiously to negotiate with Turkey to allow Jews from Germany, Austria, Hungary and Russia to settle in Palestine.

was it a policy of the British government, needing help in 1916,
to enlist support for World War 1 from non-partisan Jews of Russia,
Poland, Germany, Austria, Hungary and America ?

Zionists promised to deliver American aids
in exchange for Zionist homeland in Palestine.

The Zionist movement,
founded by Theodor Herzl, Austro-Hungarian journalist
(author of Der Judenstaat)

and then led by Chaim Weizmann, a 1904 Russian immigrant,
who, as chemist, helped the British develop solvent acetone
by fermentation for World War 1 (1917 version of WMD)

raised large sums of money in the US and
since 1878 brought so many Jews, unwanted in UK and elsewhere,
to settle in Palestine

Naturally friction and tension ensued between indigenous Arabs and the undesirable settlers. British injustices led to Arab revolt 1936 - 1938. Arab freedom fighters tried to fight dutifully ("jihad") to get rid of foreign occupiers.

Zionist terrorists in Palestine (Haganah, Irgun Zvai Leumi and Lehi or Stern) and Zionist lobbyists in UK and US took advantage to pressure the League of Nations, to partition this district of Syria into Jordan and Israel; and to make British occupiers withdraw.
Arab freedom fighters weren't as organized and strong as
65,000 Zionists well-armed and well-trained with American aids
