Daily we recite the last 3 "ayat" of "surah albaqara" [Qur'an 2.284-286] enlightening our differences. Therein is a reminder that it is not our privilege to exalt any prophet above another. Sometimes we recite "surah an-nisaa" and "surah maryam" to understand the pain and suffering of our mothers and sisters. Therein is feed for faith about John and Jesus [Qur'an 4.171 and Qur'an 19.12-36] and the words of the child Jesus for the mother Mary whilst the women were sneering at her with unjust suspicion from pride, prejudice and presumption.
Our reasoning cannot cope with our need for faith about miracles of healing dispensed by Jesus and the message that Jesus was a messiah (al-masih., moshiach or mashach), a righteous prophet, a messenger of the Beneficent, the word of the Beneficent, the spirit from the Beneficent.
Our minds seem to stretch billions of years tracing a series from Adam to Noah (Noh) to Abraham (Ibrahim), Moses (Musa), Jesus (`Isa) and Mu[h.]ammad the seal of prophets from the Beneficent.
Who might be the prophets for "the Java Man", "the Peking Man" and "the Perak Man"?
Isaiah
• Kharqil bin Thauri
• biblical Ezekiel chained and imprisoned in Babylon reproving the evil of bani Israel
• successor to al-Yasa promising to
• fast during the day
• remember the Beneficent through the night
• refrain from rage
• thus nicknamed Dzulkifl Qur'an 2:280, 21:85-86, 38:48
In tough times we often ponder about Isaiah's prophecies (chapter 42 verses 9-12):
Behold, the former things come to pass, and the new things do I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them; sing to the almighty a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth; let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voices, the villages that Kedar do inhabit; let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains; let them give glory to the almighty, and declare praise in the inlands.
[Kedar was the son of Ishmael (Isma`il) and grandson of Abraham (Ibrahim); Kedar's descendants settled in Paran in the Land of Kedar (Arabia)]
