Thanks especially to Marc for this photo he snapped in Nanaimo the other day. Here's the ugly sign at the Royal Motel... I'm amazed I had the presence of mind to match the colour of the letters to the painted trim in other areas of the place. Maybe it was a fluke. I'll see if I can find an old photo of the other murals I was talking about at the Husky station...
