We had a really good discussion in our men's group last night about how Christians should handle differences of interpretation. We all agreed that as long as the emphasis is kept on Christ, we don't have to be "twins" to be brothers. That's not to say that doctrine is unimportant, on the contrary, sound doctrine is extremely important. But so is unity. Our senior high had a camping trip this past weekend at Hanging Rock State Park. Sarah and I drove down for the day on Saturday and did some hiking with them. The spectacular outdoors notwithstanding, the highlight of the day was simply getting to hang out with my daughters. (Freshly perked coffee over an open fire was certainly a plus as well!)
