Apparently I should be smiling in the above picture, well here's a smiley me:
I had just messed up an attempt
to view London from Crystal Palace, Greenwich (from the
South) and then Parliament Hill (from the North) - all on
the same day. Well the first two were great but I got the
last station mixed up, I should have gone to Kentish town,
then taken a bus, instead I went to West Hampsted, which
almost sounded right, but is miles and miles away,
connected by a fairly infrequent bus service. Anyway, by
the time I got there it was getting dark, so the point of
me going (to take pictures) was lost. Instead, I and the
few others on the hill watched fireworks explode from the
Barbican (which I think happens reasonably often).
I have visited 11% of the World. Only 11%!
