The Sharmills formed in 2002 in Hackney, East London, as a collaboration between singer/pianist Shari Mills and guitarist/producer Matt Stuttard. In 2004 they released their debut album Ghosts, and with the addition of Chris Hardman on drums spent 2005 rehearsing and gigging around London. In October 2005 they recorded a four track EP, What's Going On?.

Since then Shari and Matt have continued gigging and working on new material. Check the news page for the latest updates.
